Founded in 1919, we use carefully selected ingredients, including a blend of locally grown wheat.
The noodles are made with a lot of time and effort, with the dough thoroughly aged and dried in the sun.
It has a strong texture, a unique elasticity, and a clear, smooth finish that goes down easy.
■ How to boil it deliciously
(1) Bring plenty of water (at least 10 times the amount of noodles) to a boil, then add the udon noodles (break them up) and mix. (2) Turn the heat to high and boil for about 7 to 10 minutes (cook cold udon noodles longer). Boil until cooked to your desired doneness. Once cooked, drain in a colander, rinse with cold water, and enjoy cooked as you like. |
■ Cooking method
Udon is good both cold and hot, and is perfect for all udon dishes. The noodles are firm, so it is delicious when cooked in a pot after a hot pot, such as mizutaki. You can also put boiled noodles directly into hot soup. |
