Founded in 1919, it has become a symbol of summer in Oita.
Sun-dried somen noodles are featured in the news and newspapers every year.
It is sun-dried and has a great flavor, is chewy, smooth and easy to swallow.
Locally, shrimp is simmered in a sweet and spicy sauce and used as noodle soup.
You can also add it to salads, hot pots, noodle soups, and other hot soups, or stir-fry it!
Boil in 2 liters or more of hot water for about 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
