"The origin of the name Yaseuma"
During the Heian period, a young prince and his wet nurse, Yase, lived in hiding in a remote village in Oita.
As a snack for the boy, he kneaded wheat flour, rolled it out thinly, boiled it, and sprinkled soybean flour on it before giving it to him.
The little prince was overjoyed, and day by day he began to beg for " skinny and delicious. "
It is said that this word is the origin of the word yaseuma.
